Discover the Aussie bed linen brand we’re currently crushing on: L&M Home
You may remember a brand called Linen & Moore? It launched in 2000 before getting a rebrand last year and now goes under the moniker of L&M Home. We caught up with the brand’s owner and founder Anna Lofts recently who shed a bit of light on its evolution and what it has next in store.

“After 16 successful years, it was time for a refresh and a change and we rebranded the name to L&M Home. We thought the name needed to better reflect how the company was evolving to gradually introduce homewares in addition to our textile ranges. Our philosophy is to create everyday luxury for the home and I’m extremely proud of what we as a team have achieved over the last 16 years,” says Anna.

With two collections produced each year (summer and winter), the team are constantly on the hunt for the next great thing. “Our in-house designers create unique seasonal textile designs exclusive to our brand. We pride ourselves on our commitment to producing high quality bed linen, blankets, throws, cushions and napery in natural fibres – think pure linen, Egyptian cotton, fine wools, and silks,” says Anna.
With a unique local focus, the upcoming summer ’18 collection features iconic Australian motifs such as the Kookaburra and Cockatoo. “It’s all about a fun-loving relaxed vibe that reflects the quintessential summer Australian lifestyle from beach to bush. Driving the theme is a playful colour palette that goes from soft and sun-bleached to fresh and zesty, in a raft of delicious tones and touch-me textures,” says Anna.

As for her favourite pieces from the upcoming range, Anna has quite a few. “In the textiles, I love the Vivo cushions for their colours and texture. I’m also taken with our iconic bird design linen cushions featuring the kookaburra and cockatoo. These nostalgic prints, along with the protea and wave cushions were created by our in-house artist/graphic designer and they add a uniquely quirky touch to the range and make me smile,” says Anna.
As for winter, next year, fans of the brand can expect more of its earthy, warm aesthetic. “The overriding look and feel will take its cue from nature – think raw and natural. The colours will be rich, warm and earthy, inspired by a selection of raw minerals. We’re also excited about extending our material selection to include leather, felt, wool and more,” says Anna.
