We’re big fans of GlobeWest here at YU Interior and have specified their stunning wares many times for our clients. So, we were pretty excited to hear recently that the brand will now be adding several mid-season collections to their already gargantuan line-up. More choice? Yes, please!

“Our customers are design savvy and love newness. We want to inspire their creativity and with such amazing products ready now, we didn’t want to make them wait!” says GlobeWest’s design manager Keti Lytras of the collections (there will be 20 new ones in total) that will launch as part of the upcoming Décor+Design trade fair, held in Melbourne later this month.

“Our customers told us what they loved most about our 2017 ranges and what they wanted to see more of,” says Keti who explains that customer feedback has been a key driver for the new ranges. And it seems that GlobeWest customers are loving texture at present with requests for rattan and velvet trumping all others. “Our customers were inspired by our Anja and Willow collections and wanted to see the introduction of more rattan. They are also loving velvet in a multitude of colour ways and they loved our palette,” says Keti.

Inspired by Danish design with a touch of Japanese simplicity, ‘Seed’ should satisfy texture lovers with its use of leather while ‘Horten’ is a clean, contemporary range that would fit into just about any space.
